Dialogue with Middle Eastern Religions:
The Center for Research on Human Brotherhood, a Middle Eastern studies center, has announced a new initiative called “Dialogue with Middle Eastern Religions,” which will begin at the end of next month. In collaboration with the Islamic Association in Taiwan, the dialogue will take place in Taipei from April 28 to May 2, 2023.
The meeting will include the following activities:
• A meeting between the delegation from the Center and the Islamic Association in Taiwan to discuss the initiative.
• A three-day planned visit to essential religious sites in Taiwan and Taipei.
• Listening to speeches by religious leaders on moral and human values
• Providing a clear definition of mercy and tolerance in Islam.
• Signing memorandums of understanding with scientific, dialogue, and religious organizations in Taiwan.
• Presenting souvenirs and medals that highlight the most important values of Islam.
Arabic Lovers Association:
The Center, in collaboration with the Arabic Language Protection Team in the Emirates, is launching a new initiative to engage with intellectuals who have learned and mastered the Arabic language despite not being Arabs themselves.
The initiative will begin with an introductory meeting for a selected group of distinguished individuals who have mastered Arabic in the Emirates. This will be followed by the launch of the “Arabic Lovers Association,” which will include:
A website called “Lovers of the Arabic Language,” which will serve as the initiative’s platform. It will feature an interactive and participatory Excel sheet that introduces all those who have mastered Arabic and written in it, and it will be automatically updated with each addition.
The publication of the most important research and works accomplished by non-Arab writers in Arabic.
The launch of a periodical magazine featuring new scientific research for Arabic language lovers.
The establishment of a series of social networking sites to introduce, connect, and create a virtual community of Arabic language lovers.
The formation of partnerships and agreements with scientific bodies interested in supporting this initiative.
The first conference for non-Arab lovers of the Arabic language has already been held.
